1. Course overview:

Among the cornerstones of the science of Arabic Language is Arabic Rhetoric (Al-Balāghah). It is used to describe an oratory power in a speaker or an author. It also shows the places of artistic beauty in literature. Rhetoric is as important as semantics, as it touches many aspects of semantics such as language and beyond. AZAC has designed this course in such a way students get to understand the importance of Arabic Rhetoric and get to be well acquainted with the rhetoric rules in the Arabic language.

2. Course objectives:

      • Knowing aspects of rhetorical analysis in the Qur’an. 
      • Knowing aspects of the prophet’s eloquence in the sunnah
      • Knowing the basis and sufficient rhetorical theory in the Arabic language.

2Proverbs in the Qur'an. 
3The literature of the story in the Holy Quran. 
4The rhetoric of kindness in the Holy Quran.
5The rhetoric of objection in the Holy Quran.  
6The rhetoric of the letters in the Holy Quran. 
7The rhetoric of waqf in the Holy Qur'an and its effect on meaning
